Trauma-informed care is defined as having a foundational knowledge of traumatic stress and how it impacts the mind, body, and soul.
Being educated on traumatic stress is important for proper care, but the application of that knowledge from a Christian worldview promotes a holistic approach of mind, body, and soul, with a true hope found in Jesus Christ, and growth that promotes thriving in life after war.
